NAIA launches new website, social media pages

QUEZON CITY (PIA)—A new website and social media pages for the “new” Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) were launched on Wednesday, September 18, following the recent turnover of operations of the Philippines’ main gateway to the San Miguel-led infrastructure corporation.

The site, www.newnaia.com.ph, highlights the ongoing transformation of the airport and its operation’s long-term vision as the country’s premier international gateway.

The New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) announced the website’s special section called “Bagong Bayani,” featuring inspiring stories of Overseas Filipino Workers in recognition of their contributions as “modern-day heroes.”

In addition to the website, the NNIC has established new social media accounts on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) under the handle @newnaiaph.

NNIC President and CEO Ramon Ang emphasized that the launch reflects the organization’s commitment to transparency and open communication.

The private operator is focused on transforming NAIA into a world-class facility, with plans to increase terminal capacity to accommodate 35 million passengers annually. Over the next three years, NNIC aims to improve the airport’s runways, commercial spaces, air conditioning, power and water supply, internet connectivity, escalators, and other amenities.

This revamped website marks a significant step in the airport’s modernization efforts, signaling a new era for one of the busiest airports in Southeast Asia. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
