The Provincial Government of Cavite under the leadership of Governor Athena Bryana D. Tolentino, once again demonstrated its dedication to community health by delivering vital medical and dental services to the residents of Brgy. Kaypaaba, General Emilio Aguinaldo, on October 15, 2024. In an inspiring display of care, 311 individuals benefitted from the free services – 268 received medical consultations and check-ups, while 43 patients underwent dental extractions. The mission also offered free haircuts, distributed essential medicines, and provided denture services, creating a truly holistic wellness experience for the community.
The successful mission was made possible through the collaboration of the Office of the Provincial Governor (OPG) medical mission team led by Ms. Sonia Mendoza, alongside the Office of the Provincial Health Officer.
Tagaytay City Vice Mayor, Dr. Agnes Tolentino graced the event, sparking enthusiasm and inspiration among the organizers and volunteers. The combined efforts of Ms. Mylene D. Quiacos, President of the Kaypaaba Women’s Association, and Brgy. Chairman Gilbert Quiacos, supported by the hard-working barangay health workers (BHWs) and expert medical professionals from the Provincial Health Office (PHO), ensured everything ran smoothly.
This initiative reaffirms the Provincial Government’s steadfast commitment to uplifting public health and extending essential services to even the most underserved communities in Cavite. — R. Dones (Mula sa CPIO)
