Feliciano kampeon sa 1st Mayor Stephen A. Palmares 9-Ball Invitational Billiard; tagumpay sa P200,000

200 HUNDRED THOUSAND PRIZE FOR MICHAEL FELICIANO CHAMPION IN 1ST MAYOR STEPHEN A PALMARES

 

Nasungkit ni Michael “Agent X44” Feliciano ang titulo ng 1st Mayor Stephen A. Palmares 9-Ball Invitational Billiard Tournament finals matapos talunin si Francisco “Django” Bustamante, 11-8, na ginanap sa Arena Stadium sa Passi City, loilo.

Nangunguna si Feliciano sa race to 11 affair, 10-7, si Bustamante ang tumapos nang mag-isa upang tapusin ang laban sa 10-8.

Naging daan para sa huling beses na makakapuntos ang dating World 9-ball champion na si Bustamante.

Tinalo niya sina A. Tamon (8-4), R. San Jose (8-0), M. Augusto (8-7), Miguel Salvilla (9-5), dating double World Champion na si Efren “Bata” Reyes (10- 6) sa kompetisyon bago makaharap si Bustamante sa final.

“I am very happy with my victory because almost all of the top players in Iloilo and nearby provinces as well as those from Metro Manila joined the tournament,” sabi ng Bacolod City based Feliciano.

” It’s an early Christmas gift,” dagdag pa ni Feliciano. Nakamit ni Bustamante ang runner-up prize P100,000. Ang 9-ball pool event na may total pot prize P500,000 na isinagawa sa pakikipagtulungan nina GAB chairman Atty. Francisco Rivera, Commissioner Atty.Manuel Plaza, Commissioner Angel Bautista  Dr.Jesucito Garcia , Mr. Nopp Moriles, Mr. John Alexis Manalo at tournament director Ramon “Maestro Monching” Mistica.
