Imus law enforcers trained in deputation

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite (PIA) – A two-day seminar on the Land and Transportation Office (LTO) Deputation was recently conducted by the City of Imus Traffic Management Unit (CITMU) on February 15 and 16, 2023 held at the Wellness Center of the Imus City Government Center.

The proper implementation of traffic laws such as the issuance of LTO tickets, and confiscation of driver’s licenses in accordance with the laws, policies, and regulations enforced by the Land Transportation Office (LTO), as well as the correct interaction with the public under the Law Enforcer 101, were explained and discussed in the seminar.

Participants in the activity were from the CITMU Traffic Enforcers, Tricycle Regulatory Unit, City of Imus Task Force, and PNP Imus who will enforce the implemented traffic laws in the city.

The said seminar was also attended by LTO Regional Director Atty. Noreen San Luis-Lutey, LTO Naic Chief Jennifer Orozco, and DEC Instructor–MV Inspector Jonathan Medina of LTO Tagaytay, LTO Imus Chief Eugene Peji, OIC City Administrator Tito Monzon, and CITMU OIC CG Commo Joey Damaso Velarde (Ret).

This activity was conducted at the suggestion of the CITMU to better equip the law enforcers in their daily monitoring of the busy thoroughfares in the city.  (RBF/PIA-Cavite with reports from the City Government of Imus)
