MANILA (PIA)—The Pag-IBIG Fund announced a record P77.33 billion in home loans disbursed from January to August 2024, representing a significant increase of P383 million compared to the P76.94 billion released during the same period in 2023.
This achievement represents the highest home loan release for this timeframe in the Fund’s history, highlighting its growing role in supporting the homeownership aspirations of Filipino workers.

“This is a step consistent with the government’s efforts to resolve the housing backlog and provide a better quality of life for Filipinos,” Acuzar said.
According to the DHSUD chief, the home loans released during this period have enabled 54,063 members to acquire or improve their homes, reinforcing the Pag-IBIG Fund’s commitment to providing quality and affordable housing for Filipino workers.

“Our interest rates remain low, and our loan terms continue to be affordable and borrower-friendly,” she noted.
