PGC’s Medical Mission Delivers Free Healthcare to 452 Residents

On Dec. 18, 2024, Brgy. Ramon Cruz’s covered court became the center of a vital healthcare mission, where 452 residents received free medical check-ups, medicines, and vitamins. This event was a collective effort aimed at improving public health and wellness, warmly supported by local leaders and the community.

5th District Board Member Aidel Belamide graced the program, expressing unwavering support for the initiative and highlighting the importance of accessible healthcare.

The medical mission was made possible through the collaboration of the medical team from General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH) and Carsigma District Hospital, and the team from the Office of the Provincial Governor. Together with the assistance of Barangay Health Workers (BHW), they worked tirelessly to meet the healthcare needs of the community. Patients were provided with medical check-ups conducted by a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and healthcare volunteers. The distribution of free medicines and vitamins aimed to address immediate health needs and promote preventive care within the barangay.

This medical mission exemplifies the strong collaboration between local officials, healthcare teams, and the provincial government under the leadership of Governor Athena Bryana D. Tolentino. — R. Dones (Mula sa CPIO)
