On December 18, 2024, Governor Athena Tolentino led the Women’s Welfare Program aimed at advancing women’s welfare in the City of Bacoor and the municipality of Kawit.
The program reflecting the governor’s steadfast dedication to women’s empowerment, provided Php 2,000 in cash assistance to 2,000 women in each municipality.
WWP not only served as a financial lifeline but also symbolized the province’s broader mission to uplift and empower women.
The event in Bacoor saw the presence of Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, reflecting strong local government support.
In Kawit, Senator Francis “Tol” Tolentino lent his backing to the initiative, further emphasizing the collaborative effort of provincial and national leaders in promoting women’s rights and welfare.
